On the morning of March 2, the delivery and naming ceremony for LYNUX ROSETTA, a 40,400 DWT bulk carrier operated by CA Shipping, was successfully completed at Jiangmen Nanyang Shipyard.

Two sister ships in the same series have already been delivered. As the third vessel in this bulk carrier series, the successful delivery of LYNUX ROSETTA marks a major upgrade to CA Shipping's fleet deployment in the dry bulk and breakbulk sector. It represents a strong implementation of the company's modern shipping philosophy of "green and low-carbon development", and further elevates the company's professional service capacity and green operation standards in the breakbulk market.

Vessel Highlights

As the third 40,400 DWT bulk carrier in CA Shipping's series, LYNUX ROSETTA retains the core strengths of the series: high standards, strong performance and environmental-friendly design. Upgraded to meet diversified market demands, it serves as an elite vessel type adaptable to both specialized breakbulk and flexible dry bulk cargo transportation.

In operational performance, the vessel is fitted with 36-tonne single cranes with tandem lifting capability. It efficiently handles the loading and unloading of heavy equipment, greatly shortens port operation time and improves overall transportation efficiency.

In cargo adaptability, container corner fittings are installed on the hatch covers to precisely support the transportation of new energy cargoes including energy storage containers. This design breaks the limitations of conventional bulk carriers, creates an efficient shipping channel for overseas cargoes, and broadens the vessel's cargo application scope.

In green and energy-saving performance, CA Shipping integrates green development into the full process of ship design and construction. The vessel fully meets the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) Phase Ⅲ requirements set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Through optimized hull lines and upgraded power systems, the ship reduces both energy consumption and emissions, fulfilling the mission of safe, economical and green shipping.

Going forward, CA Shipping strengthens cooperation with industrial chain partners, continues to build high-quality vessels under strict standards, and follows the steady trend of global industrial development. Adhering to a green and professional development direction consistent with industry requirements, the company comprehensively enhances its core competitiveness in the international breakbulk and dry bulk shipping market.
