Established in 1998, the Group comprises LYNUX Shipping Limited, LYNUX Shipping Bulk Pte. Ltd., CA Shipping Pte. Limited, Dalian Chun An International Logistics Co., Ltd., and Dalian Chun An Ship Management Co., Ltd.
We focus on liner and tramp maritime transportation for project cargo, equipment, steel products, and other dry bulk cargoes. In 2025, our annual cargo volume reached nearly 36 million revenue tonnes across 1,600 voyages. These operations are supported by more than 300 shore-based professionals in China and overseas.
In 2025, we introduced intelligent customer service to enhance customer connections. MV LYNUX RETRIEVE, CANARY, and ROSETTA joined our fleet. We forged a strategic partnership with Qingdao Port Group and founded Qingdao Ji Tong International Logistics.
In 2024, we established strategic cooperation with SIPG Luojing Terminal, COSCO SHIPPING Logistics & Supply Chain, Zhangjiagang Port, and Liaoning Port Group. We set up Ji Tong International Shipping Agency, Clio Thailand, and Clio Malaysia, and launched our China-Africa liner service.
In 2023, we forged strategic partnerships with Lianyungang Dongfang Company, Tianjin Tangshan Port Group, and other port entities. We set up the CHUN AN SCHOLARSHIP at Dalian Maritime University, and founded Clio Singapore, Clio Middle East, Clio Europe, and Clio Africa.
In 2022, we launched the ChunAn Shipping APP, realizing information connectivity between cargo, vessels, and ports. We signed strategic cooperation agreements with Tianjin Port Holding and Zhenjiang Port Group, and established Clio South America.
In 2021, we were entrusted by Dalian Maritime University to manage its training vessel "Yu Peng". We earned an AAA credit rating from the China Heavy Machinery Industry Association and launched industry-university-research cooperation with the university.
In 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we supported port authorities across Southeast Asia by delivering over 100,000 masks and 3,000 sets of medical protective gowns.
In 2019, we were recognized as the top carrier at Lu Jing and Zhanghua Bing Terminals of Shanghai Port. We set up overseas subsidiaries in Vietnam, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Cambodia, and sponsored postgraduate programs at Dalian Maritime University.
2018, we celebrated our 20th anniversary and became the largest general cargo carrier in Southeast Asia. We set up a shipping agency in the Philippines and partnered with Dalian Maritime University for talent development.
In 2017, Shanghai Ji Tong International Shipping Agency Co., Ltd. was founded.
In 2016, our annual cargo throughput exceeded 10 million revenue tonnes for the first time. Uni-Spring Logistics was established in Myanmar.
In 2015, Building on the success of our Southeast Asia services, we launched our India-Pakistan shipping routes.
In 2014, we set up our office in Manila, achieving an annual import cargo volume of over 2 million tonnes.
In 2013, we embarked on global shipping services. MV "Spring Canary" carried project cargo for the Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics, and MV "Spring Honor" operated to Australia.
In 2012, our 57,000 DWT Handymax MV "Ever Progress" was delivered with financing from DVB Bank Germany. We chartered MV "Lake Konpira" to expand fleet capacity and became an intern base for Dalian Ocean University in September.
In 2011, we took part in the first China Seamen Technique Competition, claiming second runner-up in marine sextant and visual signals and ninth place overall. We were also named Best Regional Shipping Agent and NVOCC by China Shipping Gazette.
In 2010, Chun An was selected as an intern base by Dalian Maritime University, kicking off formal talent development cooperation. We also won a COA to transport China's third-generation nuclear facilities for Zhejiang Sanmen and Shandong Haiyang Nuclear Power Plants.
In 2009, MV "Spring Canary" and "Spring Sapo" joined the Chun An fleet.
In 2008, amid the global financial crisis, the Baltic Dry Index plummeted from a record high of 11,793 to 663. We set up our Cargo Transport Technology Centre and partnered with Shanghai Port to launch Southeast Asia liner services.
In 2007, MV "Spring Retriever" joined the Chun An fleet.
In 2006, our Singapore office was established at the Central Office Building, Clarke Quay, Singapore.
In 2005, our first newbuilding, MV "Sun Fortune", was delivered at Qingdao Lingshan Shipyard. The vessel was financed by Hong Kong Chiyu Banking Finance Corporation.
In 2004, tweendeckers MV "Apollo Lynux" and "Spring Hummer" joined our Southeast Asia services.
In 2003, MV "Freya", our first tweendecker, was deployed to South East Asia services. The vessel was financed by HSBC Hong Kong.
In 2002, accredited for Safety Management System by China Classification Society. SysIn An Football Team formed.
In 2001, accredited for ISO9001:2000. First batch of graduates recruited from maritime colleges.
In 2000, vessels operating on the China-Japan-Korea liner service rose to 10. The company's Board of Management comprised 25 people.
In 1999, MV "Chun Fu", "FuYuan", and "Ocean Gem" were deployed on China-Japan-Korea liner services.
On July 26, 1998, the MV "Chun An", our first bareboat charter vessel from Japanese owners, made its inaugural sailing at Onomichi. Dalian Chun An Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd. was established in November of the same year.
