On June 18, the final and closing ceremony of the 29th CA Shipping "Haida Cup" Football Tournament was held at the West Mountain Stadium of Dalian Maritime University.
The final featured a high-level clash between the School of Marine Engineering and the School of Information Science and Technology, with both sides delivering an intense and fast-paced match marked by rapid transitions between attack and defense. In the end, the School of Information Science and Technology secured the championship with a 5–0 victory, achieving an impressive third consecutive title.
At the awards ceremony, Mu Tao presented a commemorative gift from CA Shipping to Victor Ban, a training football signed by the Liaoning Dalian team, recognizing CA Shipping’s support for the university’s sports development.
The university representatives presented the Outstanding Referee Award and the Outstanding Assistant Referee Award in recognition of the referees’ contribution to the smooth and fair operation of the tournament. They also presented the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Golden Glove, and Golden Boot awards to the respective winners.
After presenting the third- and runner-up medals, in the most anticipated moment of the ceremony, Victor Ban and Zhang Su jointly awarded the championship medals to the winning team. Vice General Manager Victor Ban personally presented the heavyweight "Haida Cup" trophy to the captain of the champion team.
